All Staff at A Star Cleaning Service have been trained to the High standards of the British Institute of Cleansing Science, (BICS) and will follow these guidelines when carrying out their duties. Typically working in teams of two they will arrive at your home or business with all the necessary cleaning equipment and supplies with them, saving wear and tear on your appliances and money off your shopping bills.

I have over 30 years cleaning and maintenance experience in the public sector. My last position prior to adventuring on my own was a Environment Manager for the Royal Borough of Greenwich Council in London England managing 400+ staff who maintained the Royal Borough cleaning standards. I became an associate member of the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS) In 1994. In 1996 I received my qualification as a BICS assessor / trainer and trained many staff within Greenwich.

Danny Chown

General Manager

I have over 20 years cleaning and maintenance experience in the public and private sectors.

I gained my British Institute of Clean Science (BICS) in 1997 whilst working for London Borough of Greenwich in London England. I then went on to work in the private sector as a Fire and Flood Restorer where I received a qualification under the British Disaster Management Association (BDMA). I also have experience in Asbestos removal and stone repair.
